About Silke

Silke van Dyk holds the Chair of Political Sociology at the Institute of Sociology, Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Her research focuses on political sociology and social inequality, the sociology of social policy and the welfare state, and the sociology of age and demography. Her most recent book (co-authored by Tine Haubner), Community-Kapitalismus, will be published in 2021 by Hamburger Edition.
