About Tilo

Tilo Wesche is Professor of Practical Philosophy at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and Associated Fellow at the Max Weber Center for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, University of Erfurt. His research focuses on democratic theory, property studies, philosophical anthropology, critical theory, and the philosophy of German idealism. His recent publications include include Die Rechte der Natur. Vom nachhaltigen Eigentum (Suhrkamp, 2023), Einführung in die Theorien des Eigentums (Junius, 2024, together with Niklas Angebauer), the co-edited book Transformations of Democracy. Crisis, Protest and Legitimation (Rowman & Littlefield, 2015) and Adorno. Eine philosophische Einführung (Reclam, 2018).
